FULL TIME BLUE MOJITO - POOL SERVER & BARBACK/ FOOD RUNNER

Summary Blue Mojito Bar at the Hyatt Centric Key West is seeking motivated, energetic Beverage Servers and Barback/Food Runners to support our dynamic bar and kitchen teams. This is a fast-paced, tipped position ideal for hospitality professionals who thrive in an upbeat, guest-focused environment. Pool Server Responsibilities Servers at our Blue Mojito Lounge, pool, beach, and dock are responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service while creating memorable guest experiences. Greet guests promptly and courteously Take accurate food and beverage orders Demonstrate strong menu knowledge and confidently recommend libations and specials Deliver food and beverages efficiently and professionally Engage guests with warm, casual conversation and personalized service (including using guest names) Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, chairs, service stations, and work areas Process payments accurately and responsibly Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow Support setup and breakdown before and after service Uphold Hyatt service standards, health guidelines, and safety regulations Your style, attentiveness, and genuine care for guests are key to creating an outstanding experience.

Barback / Food

Runner Responsibilities The Barback/Food Runner plays a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly by supporting the bar and service teams. Stock bars with liquor, mixers, ice, glassware, and supplies Run food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately Deliver In-Room Dining orders and guest amenities Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and service areas Assist bartenders and servers as needed to ensure seamless service Communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and service staff Safely lift and transport supplies, including kegs Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards

Qualifications Prior server & barback or food runner experience preferred Good verbal communication skills and collaborative attitude Ability to stand for long periods Walking, bending, pushing, pulling and carrying large amounts of weight including kegs that will weigh around 160 pounds Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Pool Server:

Tuesday and Wednesday 8h shift, beginning between 10am-2pm.

Food Runner/ Barback:

3 shifts per week from 12pm - 10:30pm
