Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while expertly preparing and serving beverages and food. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to all safety and quality standards. Take food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation procedures in compliance with food safety regulations. Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and processing payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and dining space, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked for efficient service. Engage with guests to promote specials or upsell menu items confidently, boosting sales opportunities through excellent customer service skills. Assist with catering, banquet events, or nightclub service as needed, demonstrating flexibility across different hospitality settings. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse settings including nightclubs and catering events. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding alcohol laws; certifications preferred but not required.
