Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and providing personalized recommendations Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, ensuring proper transaction procedures are followed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons Restock bar inventory promptly, tracking supplies using retail math skills and basic math for inventory control Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service or catering events to ensure seamless guest experiences in banquet or catering settings Skills Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, particularly in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully Effective time management to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling, retail math, and inventory management Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations; knowledge of brewing or food industry standards is a plus This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in fast-paced environments.
