Server/Bartender Root+Clay Saint Petersburg, FL Job Details Part-time $10 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Food service customer order management Sales transaction processing Basic math Payment processing in food service Cleaning messes in dining areas Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Server/Bartender to join our team. As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for serving tables within the floor and bar areas as well as preparing and serving drinks. This is not a bartending only position. This position requires you to work some evenings and some days including Saturdays. It is preferrable that you are located within Pinellas County.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Serve food to customers
  • Interact with customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks
  • Maintain cleanliness behind the bar and server areas
  • Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of food safety guidelines
  • Experience in food service
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in handling food and beverages safely
  • Familiarity with basic math for handling payments
  • Experience with POS systems for order processing. Experience with Toast System is a plus
  • Previous bartending and serving experience is required for this position
  • Experience in a Country Club type setting is preferred but not necessary
Pay:
$10.00 per hour
