  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, with a strong background in hospitality and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. This role involves preparing Specialty Craft Cocktails and serving drinks, engaging with patrons, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our Waterfront Restaurant. A solid understanding of POS system is essential, along with excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently. Candidates should possess a keen eye for food safety, proper food handling, and cash handling procedures, ensuring compliance with all health regulations. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences. Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience. Operate POS systems such as TOAST for order entry, billing, and cash handling. Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to food safety standards. Restock bar supplies as needed during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws. Collaborate with kitchen staff or catering teams during events such as banquets or catering functions. Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at the end of shifts. Assist in setting up for special events like nightclubs or private parties when required. Qualifications Proven 6+ yrs. experience in food service or hospitality roles; prior bartending experience preferred, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Effective time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and bill splitting. Ability to work nights, weekends, or flexible hours based on business needs. Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails is a plus. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
