Barback and floorback

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. This position involves various tasks, including cleaning, food preparation, and maintaining stock levels, all while providing excellent customer service in a vibrant nightlife setting. Responsibilities Assist bartenders by preparing garnishes, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness behind the bar. Ensure all glassware is cleaned and organized for efficient service. Help with food preparation as needed, including assisting in catering and banquet services. Buss tables and clear away used items to maintain a tidy environment for guests. Operate POS systems (such as Aloha POS or Micros POS) for cash handling and order processing. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with guests and responding to their needs promptly. Support the team during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery. Skills Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures. Familiarity with nightclub or bar environments is a plus, along with banquet experience. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
