Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and create a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure every guest has an unforgettable experience. Whether working in a bustling nightclub, elegant restaurant, or lively banquet setting, you'll be the heart of the bar experience, mixing drinks, managing orders, and engaging with patrons to foster a welcoming environment. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair. Take customer orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in order entry and payment processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and creating a friendly atmosphere. Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to all legal regulations related to serving alcohol in nightlife or banquet environments. Assist with catering events or banquet setups as needed, supporting food handling and serving duties to ensure seamless service. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling, tipping calculations, and sales reconciliation. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor. Previous experience in food industry roles such as food service or hospitality is highly desirable. Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting is a plus for creating specialty drinks.
