This position will pay an automatic 20% gratuity of every check. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Engage with guests warmly, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments swiftly. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure smooth service flow. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly. Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs, recognizing intoxication signs, and following alcohol service regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with retail math and basic math skills is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively in high-volume environments while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices. Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles involving serving, cash handling, or catering is advantageous.
