The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant and bar environment. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, maintaining beverage quality standards, and supporting overall restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, knowledgeable about beverages and cocktail preparation, and able to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests at the bar and throughout the dining area as needed Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all Georgia alcohol service laws and company policies Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area throughout shifts Process guest orders accurately using the POS system Handle cash, credit card transactions, and guest tabs responsibly Monitor guest alcohol consumption and notify management of any concerns regarding intoxication or unsafe behavior Prepare garnishes, juices, syrups, and other bar ingredients as needed Restock beer, wine, liquor, mixers, glassware, and supplies during and after shifts Maintain proper sanitation and food safety standards in accordance with local health regulations Assist with opening and closing side work duties Support servers and other team members during busy periods Attend required trainings, meetings, and compliance certifications as assigned Maintain professionalism and teamwork with coworkers and management at all times Qualifications Previous bartending experience preferred in a restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and liquor brands Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math and cash-handling skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Must be eligible to work in the United States Certifications and Compliance Must comply with all company food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification required Work Environment This role operates in a fast-paced restaurant and bar environment with frequent interaction with guests, staff, and management. The position may involve exposure to hot surfaces, glassware, cleaning chemicals, and crowded working conditions during peak service hours.
