Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, creativity, and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety standards. Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service; address any issues professionally. Restock bar inventory efficiently, tracking supplies and communicating needs to management promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling and cashiering procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully. Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques; experience with brewing or food industry standards is a plus. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions and retail math calculations. Previous experience in hospitality roles involving serving, catering, or retail math enhances your suitability for this position.
