| Hourly Non-Exempt Compensation $15 hourly Basic skills required (but not limited to): Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers. Follow Marriott beverage standards and procedures, using Marriott's beverage manual and recipe book as references. Know premium items - beer, wines, liquors and knows prices - can open bottle of wine. Inform guests of all beverage, food, and bar promotions. Clean bar of empty glasses and dishes. Can answer basic questions, give directions and information about local areas. Performs side work accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure timely beverage refills. Uses daily opportunity to up sell when taking orders i.e. appetizers, desserts and beverages. Have full knowledge of and fully comply with the state liquor laws. Ensure the check is presented in a timely fashion. Follow proper procedures for ringing guest checks and cash collecting procedures. Make sure all drinks are entered into the POS system correctly. Prior experience of a similar nature required Accurately practices service standards on a daily basis. Follow safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
