Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems. Engage with guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change using retail math principles. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations. Restock bar supplies regularly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, to keep the bar fully prepared for service. Skills Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially within restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards. Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately. Experience in serving at fine dining establishments or catering events is a plus; nightclub or brewing industry experience is also valued.
