Bartender Oaks on the River Luxury Boutique Resort $9/Hour + Tips Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience. Manage bar inventory, including restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed to maintain smooth operations. Operate POS system efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties like processing payments and giving correct change using retail math skills. Manage time effectively during busy shifts by prioritizing tasks such as serving drinks quickly while maintaining quality standards. Uphold all food safety regulations and alcohol service laws to ensure guest safety at all times. Create a lively atmosphere by engaging guests in conversation, promoting specials or upcoming events. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, particularly in fine dining, or banquet environments. Proficiency with POS system; experience with cashiering is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately. Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails; bartending certification is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days. Experience working in diverse settings such as nightclubs, restaurants, retail environments or catering services is beneficial.
