Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our hospitality team. In this dynamic role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert drink preparation, and a welcoming attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable moments for our guests while ensuring smooth operations behind the bar and in the dining area. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Tonic POS Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, with precision Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on menu offerings and specials Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction Work closely with fellow servers, bartenders, bussers, and kitchen staff Assist with opening and closing side work Skills Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest satisfaction Prior experience in fine dining settings or nightclubs is a plus, demonstrating versatility across different hospitality environments Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management platforms is advantageous Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, bartending, bussing, and host/hostess duties Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences!
