Located in the heart of Savannah's historic district, Common Restaurant has recently celebrated six years in service.

Common Restaurant provides ongoing wine and spirits training and expects their team to remain willing to continually expand their knowledge. Bartenders are responsible for reading and accurately following cocktail measures and recipes; for assisting to prep fresh juices, shrubs, and garnishes; for being able to genuinely connect with guests and provide an exceptional experience; and for working as a team with fellow bartenders and servers. Dedicated bartenders will also have the opportunity to work with the events team in setting up and serving special events in the private event space. The bar top at Common Restaurant is a full-service bar and the bartenders are expected to work with an intimate knowledge of the culinary menu, including the Chef's Tasting Menu experience. Bartenders will go through full server training as part of their bartender training and must be comfortable with table service. Bartenders are also expected to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure; to multitask while continuing to work with attention to detail; to act professionally and calmly while "on stage"; and to keep a clean workspace. Bartenders must be able to stand and move for long periods of time without a break and must be able to bend, squat, reach overhead, kneel, twist, and lift at least 25 lbs., and walk up and down stairs, sometimes multiple times a day.
