The ideal candidate is a person who isn't afraid to be the boss while maintaining a friendly and positive work environment. As Shift Manager/Server, you will still take tables yet you will ultimately be responsible for the general well-being of the restaurant during that shift. We are a popular midtown and downtown destination and this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to shine as a leader, while supplementing their manager salary with tips. Job includes health benefits, bonuses and paid time off after completion of probationary period. The Manager position performs the following duties: Ensures all staff is on time and present for their shifts. Bartending experience is a must- at least 1 yr. The Manager/Bartender will act like a Shift Lead and will be schedule at the bar, sometimes at the floor. Communicates and prioritizes tasks for both
FOH & BOH
crew Helps handle call outs Takes care of supervising and completion of all opening tasks Must have at least 1 year of Management experience Problem Solving Handle disgruntled customers by offering suggestions and solutions Facilitate FOH and BOH issues and maintain positive relationship with BOH managers and staff Control seating at peak times Deal with POS problems, Credit Card Issues, Issues with register, etc Customer Service Must excel at customer service Make sure customers leave the restaurant happy The IDEAL candidate is self-motivated and doesn't need to have their hand held on a daily basis. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone in management who wants to be a leader, yet still has a passion for serving. If you don't require constant oversight and you are motivated to help propel the restaurant to the next level, this can be a fantastic long-term opportunity for you!
