About the
Role:
As a Bartender at Honey Creek Resort, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by crafting and serving a wide variety of beverages in a professional and friendly manner. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. This position requires engaging with guests to provide personalized service, recommend drinks, and create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. You will collaborate closely with the resort's hospitality team to support special events and daily operations, contributing to the overall success of the resort's food and beverage services. Ultimately, your efforts will enhance guest satisfaction and uphold the high standards of Honey Creek Resort's brand reputation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Legal age to serve alcohol in the United States. Previous experience as a bartender or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry. Basic knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment operation. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol). Experience working in a resort or high-volume hospitality environment. Knowledge of craft cocktails and mixology techniques. Ability to handle point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently. Multilingual abilities to better serve a diverse guest population.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and guest preferences. Engage with guests in a courteous and professional manner to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware and utensils. Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol consumption and comply with all legal and safety regulations. Collaborate with other resort staff to support event setups, inventory management, and smooth daily operations.
