Contract Job Description:

Velvet d' Ash, a cigar and cocktail lounge in Eagle, Idaho, is looking for an experienced bartender or bar manager to help with a short-term Square POS alcohol menu project. Our Square POS system and hardware are already set up. We need help organizing and inputting the alcohol side of the POS so it is easy for bartenders to use during service. This is not an IT or hardware setup position. We are looking for someone with real bar experience who understands liquor categories, cocktail pricing, and how drinks should be rung in at a working bar.

Responsibilities include:

Organize liquor categories inside Square POS Help structure well, call, premium, and top shelf pricing Input or review cocktail items Create modifiers for liquor upgrades, doubles, neat, rocks, up, and mixers Help price cocktails, pours, and common bar drinks Make the POS layout simple and practical for bartenders Offer recommendations based on real bar service experience Ideal candidate has: Bartending or bar management experience Knowledge of liquor tiers and cocktail pricing Experience with Square POS or another restaurant/bar POS system Strong attention to detail Ability to explain things clearly and work hands-on Cigar lounge, cocktail bar, or upscale bar experience is a plus Project details: This is a short-term paid project, estimated at 3-5 hours to start. Additional hours may be available if needed.
