Whether working at the bar or attending to table needs, you'll be a key player in ensuring our guests feel welcomed, valued, and entertained. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, using POS systems such as Toast POS. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly, attentive customer service. Serve food and beverages to guests at the bar or tables, ensuring proper presentation and timely delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering duties, processing payments accurately, and balancing registers at shift end. Engage with guests to promote sales of menu items and specials while fostering a welcoming environment. Skills Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles; fine dining or previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS for order entry and payment processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle inquiries gracefully. Basic math skills for cash handling and accurate order calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends.
