Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to boost sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering duties, processing payments, and balancing registers at shift end. Ensure responsible serving by monitoring guest alcohol consumption and adhering to legal drinking age regulations. Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure smooth service flow throughout shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments; retail math skills are a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; previous cash handling experience required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food industry. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events like catering or banquets. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math calculations.
