Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Schedule:

Variable, including evenings and weekends for pool service and events Pangea is launching a residential amenity dining program in Class A high-rises in the South Loop — poolside food and beverage, in-residence dining, and ongoing resident programming. We're hiring the founding service team and looking for a polished, warm hospitality professional who can make residents feel genuinely taken care of. Responsibilities Deliver attentive, professional service across the pool deck, lounges, and in-residence dining Mix and serve cocktails, beer, and wine to standard Take orders and operate POS accurately for service and payment Run orders and maintain cleanliness and organization for the pool deck, in-residence dining, and events/programs Set up, run, and break down resident events and programming Maintain spotless, well-stocked service and bar areas Anticipate resident needs and represent Pangea with consistent polish Maintain rigorous sanitation, organization, and labeling across the kitchen, storage and dish areas Support back-of-house flow during peak periods What We're Looking For Serving and bartending experience in a quality hospitality setting BASSET certification Illinois Food Handler certification Illinois Allergen certification Comfort with POS systems Genuine hospitality, discretion, and a calm, professional presence with residents Flexibility on schedule and scope Reliable, punctual, and self-directed Perks Supportive, team-focused environment Employee discount across all Pangea restaurants
