Job Description

Position Overview:
Barbacks are critical to the bar's success. They ensure the bar is equipped with everything necessary to maintain an efficient and five-star environment. While working closely with servers and bartenders, the barbacks are responsible for product knowledge in guest interactions. This position is accountable for a wide array of responsibilities, which change in daily operations depending on the flow of the bar.
Position Responsibilities:
Barbacks are mainly responsible for ensuring the bar is equipped to run smoothly and efficiently. Preparing garnishes, polishing glasses, bussing tables, and stocking all coolers and liquor cages are all essential parts of daily operations. Barbacks are one of the most important positions in Rebar, as they are the skeleton to which everything else is added. Barbacks must be able to multitask in daily operations and perform all duties assigned to them in a timely manner. Barbacks are responsible for arriving at work on time, maintaining an error-free sign-in and sign-out procedure, and following all grooming standards set forth. On duty, they are required to maintain a positive disposition and accommodate our guests to the highest level possible. They are to work with the team to maintain a positive working environment and assist other positions in the team whenever possible.
