The ideal bartender will be a trusted, detail-oriented individual on the service team whom our guests rely on for genuine hospitality and stellar service. BARTENDER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Properly mix alcoholic beverages according to recipes and prudent portion control.
- Ring all food and beverage items with 100% accuracy to ensure proper flow of service.
- Follow steps of service to provide a quality guest dining experience.
- Directly work with support staff to maintain operating par standards for glassware, garnishes, silverware.
- Inspect glassware, silverware, and other bar items for cleanliness and appearance.
- Issue receipts, accept payments, verify charges, and record charges in order to balance drawer.
- Assist in cleaning, polishing and stocking glassware throughout the service.
- Resolve complaints in regards to guest experience in positive and professional manner.
- Positive team player with the ability to get larger tasks completed.
- Follow health and safety procedures.
- Work well in a team atmosphere and independently.
- Self-motivated and friendly, able to work with a diverse team of people.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested e.g., special guest requests.
- Must adhere to all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
- Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
- Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
