Bartender/Server - Full Time

Job Overview As a bartender at On The Rocks, you'll serve drinks, take food orders, and help create a clean, fun and welcoming environment. You'll also help maintain the bar area and assist with basic cleaning at the end of your shift. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks in a timely manner. Manage the bar area, including cleaning surfaces, washing glassware, and restocking supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a Point of Sale (POS) system. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service practices are followed. Assist in events as required, providing bartending services for private functions or special occasions. Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, brewing techniques, and food safety standards to ensure high-quality service. Take food orders and manage tabs. Prepare food orders Check IDs and ensure guests are 21+ Close down the bar, including: sweeping & mopping, cleaning surfaces and drink stations, and taking out trash. Support simulator bay areas when needed Qualifications Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required. Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements. Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Must be 21+ years of age This job is $12/hr plus 100% of your tips!
