We pride ourselves on offering fresh food and daily drink specials, ensuring there's something for everyone. Our high-volume establishment keeps our staff engaged and well-compensated. Summary We are seeking a Barback to join our dynamic team at J.W. Hollstein's Saloon. In this role, you will support bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized, contributing to an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment. Compensation Hourly pay plus cash tips daily. The amount varies based on sales/traffic. Responsibilities Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Restock supplies such as liquor, beer, mixers, and garnishes throughout shifts. Help manage inventory by tracking stock levels and notifying management of shortages. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and ensuring their needs are met. Support the team in bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area. Requirements Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling practices is essential for maintaining safety standards. A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service. Some heavier lifting is required.
