Aloft is a hip Marriott lifestyle brand focused on style, personality and a lively hotel social scene to cater to the next gen traveler. This is a full time position, with pay starting at $15/hr PLUS tips! As a bartender, you would be responsible for the following tasks: Prepare drink orders including craft cocktails, wine, liquor and beer. Adhere to craft cocktail recipes to ensure consistent beverage quality Prep garnishes and complete craft cocktail batching Monitor seating in the lounge/bar area ensuring all guests are served. Maintain an environment of safe alcohol service by monitoring guest alcohol consumption in accordance with TIPS certification standards Maintain bar cleanliness, work areas and tables, glasses, utensils and bar equipment. Restock bar as needed. Ensures all temp logs and waste logs are maintained daily. Ensures tips are reported properly for tax processing. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Prior experience working as bartender is preferred Strong knowledge of basic cocktail recipes Ability to learn and execute in house craft cocktail recipes Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean Ability to obtain an alcohol service permit.
