Part-time Bartender

Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced but laid-back environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of beverages and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience. This position is part-time and will be for various days and shifts. Pay is $6 an hour + nightly tips. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning countertops. Handle transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Requirements Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or bar setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change. Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
