An independent and locally owned restaurant and catering group with a 30+ year track record of success, NHG is seeking professional and passionate bartenders with at least 2 years' experience to join the team at our premiere cocktail bars, Spirited and Salvation in South Bend. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mixology, a keen interest in wine, and a commitment to providing outstanding guest service. Punctuality, teamwork, and a desire to continually learn and grow are essential qualities for success in this role. Key Responsibilities Craft and serve a wide range of cocktails, including both classic and innovative creations, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation. Provide exceptional service to guests, offering recommendations and sharing knowledge about our beverage offerings. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the team, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Participate in ongoing training, staying current with industry trends, new recipes, and product knowledge. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in an upscale dining environment. Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, and craft cocktail techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to learn and adapt to new methods and menu changes. Punctuality and reliability are a must. Desire to grow professionally and continuously learn about food & beverage Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure Must be 21 years of age or older and possess an Indiana Alcohol Server Permit Preferred Attributes Wine or cocktail certifications. Experience with seasonal and ingredient-driven cocktail menus. Familiarity with Toast POS systems. A team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
