Job Description

Alpen Haus & The Golf Lodge opens this summer at 13 N Washington in downtown Valparaiso. We are the only authentic German restaurant in Northwest Indiana, paired with a 4-bay Trackman golf simulator lounge under one roof. Our bar program is built to be the best in downtown
Valpo:
craft cocktails, full German beer hall on draft, allocated bourbons (Eagle Rare, E.H. Taylor, Blanton's), and a serious wine list. We are hiring experienced bartenders for our opening team. What you'll do: Run a high-volume craft bar across two service models (full-service dining plus simulator-bay service). Build cocktails to spec, maintain bar stock and presentation, lead bar-back staff, and own the guest experience at the bar top.
What we want:
2+ years bartending experience in a craft cocktail or upscale environment. Knowledge of classic cocktails and appetite to learn our German-inspired menu. ServSafe Alcohol certification (or willingness to certify on hire). Reliable, fast, clean, and proud of your craft.

Compensation:
Industry-standard tipped base wage plus tips. Strong bartenders at downtown Valpo concepts earn $20 to $30 per hour blended. Final base wage discussed at interview based on experience.
