Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Greet customers warmly, answer questions about menu options, and recommend products to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and preparation procedures. Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy using POS systems, ensuring correct change and transaction records. Restock ingredients, supplies, and merchandise regularly to keep the juicery well-stocked and inviting. Uphold food safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff. Use effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods while maintaining quality service. Experience Previous barista or café experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate measurement of ingredients. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is preferred. Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail in food prep and service. Prior experience in the food industry or retail setting will help you excel in this energetic role.
