Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using Toast POS systems. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of specialty drinks and food items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, basic math calculations for bills, tips, and change, ensuring accuracy in all transactions. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations. Restock bar supplies regularly, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils to ensure smooth operations during busy hours. Uphold all food safety standards and sanitation protocols consistent with health regulations. Utilize your knowledge of distilling techniques or beverage trends to recommend drinks that delight guests' palates. Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally while creating a lively atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs, fine dining restaurants, or banquet settings is highly preferred but not required. Bourbon knowledge and cocktail experience preferred. Will train accordingly. Strong skills in food safety practices, food handling, retail math, cash handling, and basic math calculations. Previous experience serving in the food industry or hospitality sector demonstrates your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing busy bar environments effectively.
