THE ROLE
Braxton Brewing Company is hiring a passionate Early Morning Bartender for our CVG Airport Taproom. Bartenders at Braxton are responsible for a friendly, interactive guest experience backed by exceptional knowledge of our products — setting the tone for travelers before their day even begins. This is an early-start position with a report time of 3:30 AM. You'll be done by noon each day and work a consistent Saturday-Monday schedule every week. Responsibilities include food and drink service, cash handling, and opening duties. The right candidate is experienced, self-sufficient, and reliable. Additional hours may be available based on performance and availability.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide excellent customer service with a customer-first attitude. Educate guests on Braxton beverages, assess their preferences, and make confident drink recommendations. Serve early-morning airport travelers with coffee, breakfast, and beverages. Handle cash and process sales accurately through the POS / inventory system. Open and/or close the bar, including cash handling and following open/close checklists. Keep the bar well-stocked with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and other accessories. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment — bar, tables, chairs, and work areas — throughout every shift.
WHAT YOU BRING
High school diploma or equivalent. Bartending experience, with the necessary bartender licensing (if required by state law). Cash handling and bar opening/closing experience. Must be 21 or older. Must be able to pass an airport background check (10-year history). Self-sufficient, reliable, and comfortable working independently during early-morning hours.
