A NEW PRIVATE CIGAR LOUNGE IN
LEXINGTON and we are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Bar Back to support operations within our private cigar lounge. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and polished environment while ensuring bartenders and staff have everything needed to deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role plays a critical part in upholding the atmosphere and cleanliness standards throughout the entire lounge. Responsibilities Support bartenders by restocking liquor, beer, glassware, ice, garnishes, and bar supplies throughout service Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar and throughout all guest-facing lounge areas Continuously monitor and clean tables, ashtrays, seating areas, restrooms, and common spaces to ensure the lounge remains polished and inviting Assist with opening, closing, and deep-cleaning duties to uphold high hospitality standards Remove trash, replace liners, and maintain overall cleanliness throughout the facility Wash and polish glassware while ensuring bar stations remain fully stocked and service-ready Assist with receiving and organizing inventory deliveries Work closely with bartenders and management to maintain smooth operations during busy hours Help create a welcoming, elevated environment by paying close attention to presentation and cleanliness at all times Qualifications Previous bar back, bar, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and move quickly throughout shifts Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Evening and weekend availability required Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate understands that cleanliness and organization directly impact the guest experience. They are proactive, efficient, and take pride in maintaining every part of the lounge to the highest standard — from the bar itself to the overall ambiance of the space.
