LEXINGTON and we are looking for driven, experienced, and enthusiastic bartenders who prefer set schedules (guaranteed hours.) b.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Bartenders professionally mix and serve beverages for members and guests. Monitor and report pricing and recipe discrepancies as they arise. Uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures. Conduct daily inventory and maintain.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. i. Maintain liquor, beer and wine stock. ii. Maintain Inventory. iii. Provide cost analysis for all new cocktails. iv. Maintain accurate pours for all spirits and wines. v. Promptly open and/or close the bar. vi. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storeroom. vii. Prepare fruits, garnishes and mixes. viii. Professionally and accurately mix alcoholic beverages. ix. Assist with side work and delivery when needed. x. Count and charge all liquor for beverage functions. xi. Record drink orders accurately and immediately upon receipt into the POS system. xii. Responsible for all alcohol at the assigned bar. xiii. Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation xv. Check identification to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. xvi. Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by following

training. xvii. Learn the names and personally recognize our regular Members. xviii. Maintain a thorough knowledge of services, activities, dining options, local attractions and historical information regarding BC Lounge and the surrounding area. xix. Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas. xx. Uphold appropriate departmental standards of quality/timing. xxi. Uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures. xxii. Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately. xxiii. Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement. xxiv. Ability to work simple math calculations. xxv. Accurately handle money, make change and process credit card transactions. xxvi. Courteously present information to people in one-on-one and group situations. xxvii. Ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with coworkers efficiently and effectively. xxviii. Detail oriented and able to manage priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. xxix. Ability to easily adapt to organizational and environmental changes. xxx. Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. xxxi. Willing and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

i. Minimum one (1); preferred two (2) years experience as a Bartender/Mixologist. ii. Previous beverage service experience in a luxury hotel, resort or fine dining restaurant preferred. iii. TIPS or STAR certification preferred. iv. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. v. Knowledge of ice, glassware, mixers, alcohol. vi. Must be at least 20 years of age (Kentucky law requires that one must be over the age of 20 to dispense or serve alcoholic beverages). e.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

i. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. ii. Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, team members and managers. f.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

i. Knowledge and understanding of property management cashiering procedures. g.

REASONING ABILITY

i. Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals. h.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

i. Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged periods. ii. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy. iii. Ability to lift, carry, pull and push up to 50 lbs intermittently throughout a shift.

Pay:
