You'll lead service, build the program, and own the numbers. Most of your week is on the stick slinging drinks with the team. The rest is ordering, scheduling, training, and tightening operations. This isn't a corporate GM seat. It's an operator role for a bartender who's ready to run the show. What You'll Own Service & floor leadership — set the pace behind the bar, lead by example, keep ticket times tight Cocktail program — refine the menu, manage specs, run staff tastings, push seasonal builds Inventory & ordering — weekly counts, par levels, vendor relationships, COGS targets Scheduling & labor — write the schedule, hit labor %, manage call-outs Team development — coach Isaac (Bar Lead), Alex (Shift Lead), and the bartender roster Standards — cleanliness, speed, hospitality, consistency, every shift Reporting — weekly recap to ownership: sales, labor, variance, wins, problems Who You Are 3+ years bartending in volume, craft, or both — Louisville bar scene experience is a plus You've led a shift or run a bar program before You read a P&L, know what pour cost should be, and can fix it when it's off Fast hands, clean station, calm under a packed Friday rail Toast POS experience preferred (we'll train if you're sharp on another system) Comfortable with late nights, weekends, and the realities of bar life Direct communicator — no drama, no excuses, fixes things What You Get $22-$28/hr based on experience, plus tips on shifts you're on the floor Real ownership of a Whiskey Row bar with strong foot traffic and an established team A team that already works — Isaac and Alex aren't going anywhere; you're inheriting talent, not rebuilding Direct line to ownership — fast decisions, no corporate layers Growth path as we expand the concept portfolio Schedule ~40 hrs/week. Expect 3-4 bar shifts + 1-2 admin/floor days. Thursday-Saturday nights are non-negotiable.
