As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding food and beverage service. Your ability to engage with guests, upsell menu items, and ensure their satisfaction will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest preferences are noted. Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while maintaining a high standard of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Assist with bussing tables, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest questions effectively. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a busy environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience with cash handling is an asset.
