We are seeking motivated, personable, and professional individuals who are passionate about customer service and committed to maintaining the highest standards of excellence. Position Summary The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, delivering outstanding guest service, maintaining bar operations, and ensuring compliance with all applicable alcohol service laws and safety regulations. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment while creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests. Essential Responsibilities Beverage Preparation & Service Prepare, mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to established recipes and quality standards. Maintain consistency in presentation, flavor, and service. Recommend beverages and menu pairings based on guest preferences. Stay informed on current beverage trends and specialty cocktails. Guest Experience & Customer Service Welcome guests with professionalism and warmth. Take beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service while building positive guest relationships. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and manage difficult situations with discretion and professionalism. Point-of-Sale & Cash Handling Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments accurately. Maintain and manage multiple tabs and transactions efficiently. Ensure accuracy in all sales and financial transactions. Inventory & Bar OperationsStock Management Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs. Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies as needed. Assist with inventory counts and product organization. Compliance & Safety Adhere to all local and state liquor laws and regulations. Verify identification and ensure responsible alcohol service. Operate bar equipment safely and effectively. Maintain compliance with all health, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Cleanliness & OrganizationSanitation Standards Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area. Sanitize workstations, equipment, glassware, and tools regularly. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements. Workplace Efficiency Prepare ingredients and supplies before service periods. Maintain an organized workstation to ensure efficient and seamless service. Effectively multitask while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction. Additional Responsibilities Assist with special events, promotions, and restaurant functions as needed. Support menu development and specialty beverage offerings when applicable. Mentor and assist in training new team members when requested. Collaborate with management and staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications Liquor license Must be 21 years of age or older. Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred. Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and responsible alcohol service practices. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience using POS systems preferred. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
