In this dynamic role, you will oversee the bar operations, lead a team of bartenders, and ensure exceptional customer service in a lively, fast-paced environment. Your expertise in mixology, food safety, and hospitality will drive the success of our bar program while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and passion for the food and beverage industry. Responsibilities Lead and motivate a team of bartenders to deliver outstanding service, ensuring all guests receive a warm, engaging experience. Oversee daily bar operations, event management, including drink preparation, inventory management, and cleanliness standards. Utilize POS systems such as Clover and Toast POS to process orders accurately, handle cashing out, and manage sales transactions efficiently. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and food handling protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times. Manage time effectively during busy shifts by prioritizing tasks such as serving guests, restocking supplies, and cleaning stations. Provide training and mentorship to new team members on beverage preparation techniques, POS usage, customer service skills, and responsible alcohol serving practices. Collaborate with management on catering events, banquet functions, nightclub activities, or other special occasions requiring bar services. Demonstrate proficiency in basic math for cash handling, retail math for inventory counts, and accurate measurement of ingredients for cocktails. Foster a welcoming environment by engaging with customers directly, upselling menu items confidently, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in fine dining or nightclub settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Extensive knowledge of POS systems; familiarity with cashiering and food industry standards is essential. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally and courteously. Strong leadership qualities with previous experience supervising or leading a team in a hospitality environment. Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently without compromising quality. Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions involving cash handling or sales calculations. Experience working in retail math or brewing environments is advantageous but not required.
