Located inside the iconic Winthrop Center — a globally sustainable mixed-use tower in the heart of downtown Boston — Vermilion delivers elevated hospitality, exceptional ingredients, and an energetic dining experience that blends sophistication with warmth. We are seeking passionate, polished, and hospitality-driven Bartenders to join our opening team. This is more than a bartending role — it's an opportunity to create memorable guest experiences through genuine connection, refined service, and a deep knowledge of both food and beverage. What You'll Do Craft exceptional cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer service with consistency and precision Create an engaging, welcoming atmosphere for guests at the bar and throughout the dining room Guide guests through both beverage and food menus with confidence and enthusiasm Deliver dishes with professionalism, accuracy, and polished presentation Collaborate closely with servers, back servers, and barbacks to ensure seamless service flow Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalized hospitality Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service Execute opening and closing responsibilities efficiently Uphold all responsible alcohol service, health, and sanitation standards Contribute creatively to seasonal cocktails and beverage programming What We're Looking For 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale hospitality environment Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer A polished, guest-focused presence with exceptional communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Passion for hospitality, food, beverage, and creating memorable experiences POS and cash handling experience TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays Why Join Vermilion?
