Key Responsibilities:
Serving Drinks:
Mixing cocktails and pouring drinks according to recipes or customer requests, serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.Customer Service:
Greeting guests, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience at the bar.Bar Operations:
Managing the bar area, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patrons.Cash Handling:
Processing payments, handling cash transactions, and managing tabs.Inventory Management:
Monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies, and potentially assisting with ordering.Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.Communication:
Working effectively with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service.Essential Skills:
Mixology Knowledge:
Understanding of different types of beverages, cocktail recipes, and drink preparation techniques.Customer Service Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Speed and Efficiency:
Ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially during busy periods.Multi-tasking:
Managing multiple tasks simultaneously, including taking orders, preparing drinks, and handling transactions. Attention toDetail:
