Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customer satisfaction.
- Flexable hours looking for lunch hours, nights and every other weekend Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Handle cash transactions using POS systems, such as Toast POS, ensuring accuracy in processing payments.
- Adhere to food safety standards and maintain knowledge of health regulations within the food industry.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Handle the bar area and dining area. Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy shifts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly SpotOn POS, is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
