Howling Wolf is seeking a skilled and energetic Bartender to join our team. This role is pivotal in creating an engaging bar atmosphere and delivering exceptional drink service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a flair for engaging with customers, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a high-volume bar is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Drink Preparation:

Mix and serve drinks according to Howling Wolf's recipes. Maintain high quality and consistency of all beverages served.

Customer Service:

Provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all guests. Engage with customers, taking the time to understand their preferences and making recommendations.

Inventory Management:

Keep the bar stocked and clean. Regularly check inventory levels and request restocks as needed.

Cash Handling:

Accurately manage tabs and cash transactions. Ensure all sales are recorded properly.

Compliance:

Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws regarding alcohol service and health code regulations.

Maintenance:

Keep the bar area clean and organized, ensuring all equipment functions correctly.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the rest of the bar and restaurant staff to ensure a seamless service experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment. Strong understanding of mixology, bar equipment, and common cocktails. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment. Knowledge of handling and maintaining a cash drawer. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol. Certification from a bartending school or equivalent training is a plus. Knowledge of local liquor laws.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting.
