Event Bartender

About Us At Weathervane Golf Club, we are committed to providing area residents and visitors with chef-inspired cuisine, creative and sophisticated beverage options, and top-level service, creating a truly memorable guest experience. About the Role We are looking for dynamic, experienced individuals who are able to create a pleasant and memorable guest experience by delivering food and beverages in a timely manner. We are currently seeking candidates for permanent, part-time and full-time positions.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITY

- Essential Functions

• Greets and interacts with guests in a pleasant and professional manner
• Mixes cocktails, pours wine, beer and all other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the event.
• Enters orders in Point of Sale (POS) software and collects payment, as needed.
• Monitors alcohol consumption, exercising best practices in accordance with state and local laws.
• Makes beverage recommendations.
• Upsells and promotes products.
• Maintains a clean bar and workspace.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of all wine, beer and spirits offered in the event space.
• Performs side work, as assigned.
• Stocks products and glassware.
• Reports guest issues to management.
• Performs other duties and tasks, as needed.
• Breakdown and clean the bar according to the provided checklist.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience bartending events.
• Current TIPS certification.
• Flexibility, working varying shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction, with a positive and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Basic Food and Beverage (F&B) knowledge, with focus on wine and spirits offered at the facility.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under stress, while remaining calm and demonstrating patience.
• Advanced listening skills, demonstrating attentiveness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Ability to quickly learn POS software and operate it efficiently.

Pay:

$6.75 - $7.00 per hour
