DESCRIPTIONThe description below is designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by team members within this classification. The work of the Bartender includes: Performing a full range of customer service for the Lounge and keeping a clean and healthy environment for our customers. They are responsible for standard of service. The duties of a Bartender include but are not limited to:
Checks identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
Bartenders should be friendly, tactful and attentive when dealing with customers.
Takes beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
Arranges bar/cart supplies and glasses to make attractive displays.
Cleans glasses, utensils and bar equipment; cleans bars, work areas and tables.
May prepare and/or sell food items.
May take inventory and review stock and requisitions.
May stock bar with beer, wine, liquor and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins or straws.
Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.
Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures. And brand standards.
Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
Interacting with airline passengers via premier clubroom/bar environment in a professional and pleasant manner.
Meeting customer and passenger needs through courteous customer service skillsMonitoring number of alcoholic beverages served to passengers and alert management to potential problems.
Full bar service including wine, beer and crafted cocktailsMaintaining a thorough knowledge of all required regulatory agency requirements.
Restock wine, beer and spiritsMaintaining a neat work environmentRestocking food, beverages, snacks, coffee, cups, glasses, ice, etc.
Completing paperwork related to daily liquor usage / inventory / ordersBARTENDER JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to successfully pass airport authority security background check. High school diploma or GED is preferred. Related background in customer service or restaurant/bar service. Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age as applicable by law. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and possess verbal communication skills necessary to communicate with customers, passengers, and co-workers. Able to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.BARTENDER ESSENTIAL JOB
