Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our hospitality team at V-NO. In this role, you will craft and serve beverages, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience. Your enthusiasm for hospitality, combined with excellent customer service skills, will help create a lively atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to take orders and recommend drinks based on preferences. Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations throughout shifts. Handle POS (Point of Sale) system (Toast) for order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of Toast is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and inventory management using retail math principles. Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and responsible serving practices. Experience working in the food industry or hospitality environment; familiarity with catering or food service is advantageous. Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards.
