TIPS training required. Small hotel bar; Cashless. Looking for mature leader who is comfortable being proactive to promote and help sell drinks. Bartender also responsible for lite fare food including nachos with salsa and soft pretzels. MICROS expereince helpful. Will also be crosstrained to help on front desk when needed. Bartender will be responsible for inventory, cleaning and running items to guest rooms (hotel ammenities) when needed. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness to meet health and safety standards. Take orders for food and beverages in both fine dining and nightclub environments, supporting catering and banquet services when needed. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to food safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours while managing time effectively in fast-paced settings. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments; fine dining experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; previous experience with retail math or hospitality software is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol service regulations. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and sales transactions. Previous experience in catering or food industry roles enhances your suitability for this position.
