We're looking for a bartender who isn't just skilled behind the stick, but who thrives in conversation, anticipates needs, and brings warmth and energy to the room. Position Overview As a bartender at Love, Pomelo, you'll be part of a tight-knit front-of-house team committed to exceptional hospitality. You'll craft thoughtful beverages, maintain a pristine and organized bar, and help set the tone for both the dining room and bar guests. This is a service-oriented role that values presence, precision, and personality. Responsibilities Guest Experience & Service Provide warm, genuine, and personal hospitality to all bar and dining guests Engage bar guests in conversation, guiding them through wine, cocktail, and food menus Anticipate needs—offering water, napkins, and check-ins before guests ask Support the flow of the room: communicate pacing with servers, runners, and kitchen Handle guest concerns with calmness, professionalism, and care Cocktail & Beverage Execution Prepare and execute classic cocktails, house cocktails, and low-ABV spritzes with consistency Maintain batch prep and mise en place for cocktails and garnishes Taste and adjust cocktails with precision—quality comes before speed Understand and speak knowledgeably about our wine list, especially Italian and indigenous varietals Assist with wine opening, presentation, and service when needed Cleanliness & Bar Organization Keep the bar spotless, organized, and well-stocked throughout service Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols Maintain bar tools, ice wells, glassware, and garnish stations to the highest standards Restock and prep for the next shift with intention and accountability Why Join Love, Pomelo?
