Bartender

Overview:

We are seeking Bartenders for evenings and weekends to join our dynamic team at Smoketown Brewing, an established Brewery/Restaurant in Brunswick. As a key member of our service staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service, mixing cocktails, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including craft beer, cocktails and wine, in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards
• Manage cash register, POS system, and handle cash transactions accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting and serving guests
• Work effectively as part of a team to deliver seamless service
• Demonstrate proficiency in using POS and cash register systems
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our beverage menu and wine list
• Engage with guests to build relationships and ensure a positive dining experience
• Collaborate with the management team to improve service and increase customer satisfaction

Experience:

• Experience in bartending, craft beer, or related fields
• Familiarity with a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of beverage service and mixology
• Experience with cash register systems and POS systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage time efficiently
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding guest expectations
