Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and billing with precision. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment. Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully stocked during shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff on food and beverage pairing, catering events, banquets, or nightclub service as required. Uphold all food handling procedures and safety regulations related to alcohol service and food safety standards. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours while maintaining high-quality customer service. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and cash handling. Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including brewing, mixing cocktails, and food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and managing tabs efficiently. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as catering or banquets. Experience in retail math or hospitality roles that require quick thinking under pressure is advantageous.
