Server / Bartender

We are looking to add several strong servers and bartenders to our Italian upscale restaurant located at the gorgeous Maple Lawn community area in Columbia, Maryland. If you are passionate about the restaurant industry, well experienced in the service industry and generally driven to exceed expectations, you may be a good fit in our highly motivated and energetic team! Waiter/Waitress Responsibilities Provide excellent customer services Always strive towards best customer satisfaction Greet customers and present menus Make suggestions based on their preferences Take and serve food/drinks orders Up-sell when appropriate Arrange table settings Keep tables clean and tidy at all times Deliver checks and collect payments Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines Waiter/Waitress Skills 2 years of experience as a waiter or waitress recommended Experience with developing a constructive working and interpersonal relationships with colleagues and customers Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Active listening Good physical condition Customer-centric We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers' needs and expectations. Bartender Responsibilities Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Bartender Skills Resume and proven working experience as a bartender Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks Point of Sale system literacy Knowledge of a second language is a plus Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean If you think that your profile fits this description, please send us your resume and we may contact you for an interview.
